Every year the college conducts – The College Week for students. A new theme is chosen every year. Based on this theme various extracurricular activities are held. To name a few: essay writing, elocution, poster painting, solo singing, solo dance, group dance, cooking, face painting etc. During the college week both indoor & outdoor sports such as 100 meters race, 400 meters relay, three legged race, long jump, kho-kho, javelin throw, short put, basketball, cricket, chess, badminton are held. The winners of these events are awarded in the college.
Academic Awards
Every year there are academic awards for standing first in each year of B.B.Sc.(N), M.Sc.(N), GNM and ANM programs. These awards are sponsored by donors and well-wishers of MKSSS, Pune.
Best All Rounder Awards
Besides the academic awards, students are awarded for their practical (Clinical) performance and over all proficiency. These awards are also sponsored by donors.
Gold Medal
A student standing first in all years of studies is awarded the gold medal. This award is given to an exceptional student in B.B.Sc.(N),M.Sc.(N), GNM and ANM programs. The academic award, all rounder award and gold medal are awarded during the Lamp lighting and Graduation ceremony.
Placement:
1) On Completion some students have taken up jobs in UK & USA.
2) 70% of the General Nursing Midwifery students have taken up jobs in Government hospitals run by Maharashtra Government.
3) 100% job guarantee in any private hospitals.
4) Some degree completed students are pursuing MBA in Hospital Administration in TISS & other Institutes.
