Aim
To provide comprehensive, accessible, and high-quality learning resources that support academic excellence, research, and professional development in nursing education, catering to students and faculty from ANM to Ph.D. nursing programs.
Objectives
- Ensure a well-equipped library with textbooks, reference books, research journals, e-resources, and digital databases relevant to all levels of nursing education.
- Facilitate access to national and international nursing research, evidence-based practice guidelines, and scholarly publications to enhance knowledge and innovation.
- Integrate ICT tools, e-books, online journals, and learning management systems (LMS) to support blended and self-paced learning.
- Conduct orientation sessions on effective literature searching, referencing, and research methodologies for students and faculty.
- Provide a well-organized, comfortable, and resourceful space for study, collaboration, and intellectual growth.
- Implement user-friendly borrowing, renewal, and digital access systems for seamless information retrieval.
- Establish partnerships with reputed nursing and medical libraries for interlibrary loans and resource-sharing.
- Encourage faculty and students to engage in continuous learning through book clubs, research discussions, and knowledge-sharing forums.
- Periodically review and upgrade the collection of books, journals, and digital materials to align with the latest nursing education and healthcare advancements.
- Ensure compliance with NAAC, INC, and other educational bodies’ guidelines for maintaining high standards in library services.
