Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

At MKSSSBTINE, we provide learning opportunities that enable our students to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

We introduce the concept of sustainability by the three interconnected pillars: social, environmental, and economic sustainability.

  1. Social sustainability focuses on improving the quality of life for our adopted community, both in urban and rural areas, and for all people we care for in hospital settings. We promote equality, access to education, healthcare, human rights, and inclusivity.
  2. Economic sustainability, we support long-term economic growth without harming social or environmental well-being. Here we support innovation and encourage sustainable consumption and production.
  3. Environmental sustainability, we teach students to protect the planet’s natural resources and ecosystems. It emphasizes the need to combat climate change, reduce pollution, conserve biodiversity, and promote the responsible use of water, energy, and other natural resources.

We also observe that SDG is being implemented among our students, enabling them to advocate for it to others they encounter through their clinical learning. The way we implement is as follows:
